Rev. Dr. S. Elaine Phipps, Ed.D., is the wife of Elder Rodney B. Phipps, Senior Pastor of the New Shiloh Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio, where she serves as the Co-Pastor. www.newshilohmbc.org   www.ladyelaineministries.org Dr. Phipps has four children by her marriage, and nine grandchildren.   She began singing at the age of three years old in the church choir where she grew up and accepted Christ at the age of 10, at the 7th Avenue Community Baptist Church, under the late Pastor Emmett Moore, Jr. She was educated in the Columbus Public School System, a graduate of Wilberforce University, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree, a graduate of Payne Theological Seminary, receiving a Master of Divinity Degree, and a graduate of Northcentral University earning her Doctor of Education Degree with a specialization in Organizational Leadership. Dr. Phipps was inducted into two national honor societies: Kappa Delta Pi and The National Society of Leadership and Success from Northcentral University. She is a proud member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Dr. Phipps accepted her call into the Gospel Ministry on Sunday, July 27, 2003, and was licensed by New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, and was Ordained on January 20, 2008, under the leadership of Elder Rodney B. Phipps, Senior Pastor, and became Co-Pastor of the ministry January 2009.   She is also the visionary lead for Operation Brightside, a program developed and supported by the church family to give school supplies and food to the community. She is also the visionary lead for God’s Little Angels, a program developed and supported by the church which teaches children that it is better to give than receive. The children can come to the event, and purchase Christmas gifts for family members at a very economical cost, providing a teachable moment.  You can find Dr. Phipps either declaring the Word of God or singing God’s praises. She has participated in numerous plays and gospel singing groups over the span of her life.   She is also the Praise and Worship Leader, Choir Director, and Sunday School Teacher.

She is the Author of the book “Behind the Mask” published and copyright 2009, and released a CD entitled “FOR YOUR GLORY”, August 2011. Whatever she finds herself doing; she does it unto the Lord. All Glory and Praise belongs to Him. Lady Phipps thanks God for using her in the capacity that He has and is looking forward to the things that he has planned for her.
